How we got here
Nico's family planted the olives forty years ago; Athena's brought the recipes. We are getting married between the rows, in the shade, and eating under the pergola until the cicadas give up.

The olive harvest, a borrowed rake, and Athena's yiayia deciding for both of us.

First press of the season, oil still warm, on the terrace where we will be having dinner.
- 2027The day
Ceremony in the grove at 4pm, mezze on the terrace, a very long dinner under the pergola.

Dress code: Mediterranean summer — linen, white welcome (yes, really), sandals for the gravel.
- Is it very hot in March?
- Usually high twenties, and the grove is in shade from three. The terrace has misters and dinner is after six.
- Can we bring the kids?
- We love your little ones, but this one's a grown-ups' night — babes in arms excepted.
