We're getting married
Imogen & Rafferty
Ferries, foghorns and the whole city lit up across the water.
Our story
We met on the last ferry home, the one that stops everywhere, and we let it. Six years and a great many crossings later, we are getting married on the harbour that did the introducing.
The 11:40 ferry from Circular Quay. Rafferty missed his stop on purpose. Imogen noticed.
On the Gap at dusk, wind straight off the Pacific, the ring very nearly in the sea.
Vows on the harbour lawn at 4pm, dinner in the boatshed, the city lit up behind the speeches.
The celebration
Ferries land at 3:15 and 3:45 — the wharf is a two-minute walk.
Oysters, a gin bar, and the last sun on the water.
Long tables, whole snapper, and the skyline over every shoulder.
Timed to the minute. Miss it and there are cabs, but the ferry is better.

Travel & stays
A block under 'I&R' until January — book early, the rooms face the water.
Easier for groups, and the ferry stops there too.
