Vendors
Plain answers about where listing information comes from, what an unclaimed profile is, and how to take control of yours.
Wedyesday lists wedding businesses two ways. Vendors join and build their own storefront, or we create a basic profile from openly licensed public data — sources like the Overture Maps open dataset, official business registers such as ABN Lookup, and the business's own public website.
We never copy reviews, star ratings, or photos from other platforms. An unclaimed profile shows only factual details — name, category, location, and contact points the business has already published — and says clearly that it's unclaimed.
An unclaimed profile isn't run by the business yet. Couples can still find it and send an enquiry; those messages are held safely and handed over when the owner claims the profile.
Ratings and reviews on Wedyesday only ever come from couples who used the platform — an unclaimed profile starts with none.
Claiming is free. Find your business in the directory, hit “Claim this profile”, and tell us how you're connected. A human on our team verifies every claim — an email at your business domain is the fastest proof — usually within 2 business days.
Once verified, the profile is yours: answer enquiries, add photos and packages, set pricing, and keep details current. Paid visibility tiers exist, but claiming and running your profile costs nothing.
Spotted something wrong on a listing? Claim it and fix it in minutes, or report the issue and we'll correct it.
If you own a business and want its listing removed entirely, ask via the report form. We action removal requests within 72 hours, and a removed business is never re-imported.
