Sydney's Telugu community is concentrated in the north-west growth corridor — Kellyville, Schofields, Rouse Hill, Quakers Hill and Blacktown — and around Parramatta and Westmead, tracking the IT and healthcare employment that brought most of it here. It is a young, largely first-generation community, and a substantial share of members are on a skilled visa pathway or recently through it.
