You said yes — now the fun begins
One place for your date, your vendors, your budget and every RSVP.
Wedyesday is a free wedding planning workspace and a vendor marketplace in one (the directory covers the largest cities in United States): set your date, shortlist vendors who are still free on it, ask for real prices, and give your guests a wedding website that collects the RSVPs.
Cost figures: Wedyesday United States cost guide, USD for around 100 guests, before sales tax and the 20-25% service charge caterers add, reviewed 2026-07-17.

21 kinds of wedding business across 17 markets in the United States. Pick a category and a city, then ask your shortlist for prices in writing.
How it works
One date sets everything else: your checklist counts backwards from it, and the directory only shows vendors you can still book.
Filter by city, category and price, save the ones you like to a board, and compare them side by side on the numbers that matter.
Send one brief to your whole shortlist. Quotes come back in writing, in your own currency, and land in one thread per vendor.
Publish a free wedding website, collect RSVPs and meals on one link, and seat the room from the replies as they arrive.

What it costs
The Knot's 2026 study put the average US wedding at about $34,200 across all guest counts, or roughly $290-300 a head. Scaled to a 100-guest celebration, that is the range below — quoted, as US vendors always quote, before sales tax and service charge. Marrying elsewhere? | Category | Low (USD) | High (USD) | What moves the number |
|---|---|---|---|
| Venue hire | USD 5,000 | USD 20,000 | The single biggest line for most couples. Rural venues and off-season dates sit at the low end; major-metro Saturdays at the top. |
| Catering and bar | USD 7,000 | USD 18,000 | Roughly $70-180 a head. A 20-25% service charge plus state sales tax lands on top of this — budget for it from the start. |
| Photography | USD 2,500 | USD 6,500 | Six to ten hours of coverage. The middle of the range buys an experienced full-day photographer in most markets. |

The Knot's 2026 study put the average at about $34,200 across all guest counts, with a median closer to $20,000-$25,000. For a 100-guest wedding, most couples land between $18,000 and $55,000 before tax and service charges.
Venue and catering are local markets. A 150-guest wedding that costs around $85,000 in San Francisco can be roughly half that in a mid-sized Midwestern city. Where you marry moves the total more than any single vendor choice.
Sales tax and service charge. Venue and catering are quoted pre-tax, and catering contracts routinely add 20-25% as a service charge or gratuity. On a $15,000 food and bar bill that is another $3,000-4,000.
One link per household; meals and replies answer themselves.
Tables rebuild as RSVPs land, so the plan is never stale.

| Officiant | USD 250 | USD 1,000 | Many states let a friend be ordained or deputised to marry you, which is why this line varies more than any other. |
